Taciano L. Milfont, PhD — Principle Investigator
Taciano received his BA (industrial and organization psychology) and MSc (social psychology) from Brazilian universities, and completed his PhD (social and environmental psychology) at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, under the supervision of Prof John Duckitt. After a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position at the School of Population Health (University of Auckland), he joined the School of Psychology at the Victoria University of Wellington where he worked for twelve years (2008-2020), becoming Deputy Director, Co-Director and Director of its Centre for Applied Cross-Cultural Research. Taciano is currently Reader in Environmental Psychology at the Te Kura Whatu Oho Mauri – School of Psychology, University of Waikato.
Taciano is ranked 4th on Google Scholar for number of citations, out of all academics worldwide who have listed ‘applied social psychology’ as one of their areas of research expertise. Check his Google Scholar profile.
